Welcome to Vancouver Community Network (VCN)!

The Vancouver Community Network owns, operates and promotes a free, publicly accessible, non-commercial, community computer utility in the Lower Mainland of BC, which provides a public space on the Internet.

VCN offers individuals free e-mail accounts, offers community organizations with web-hosting, and free used hardware and software donated by community members and businesses. VCN also provides non-profits in need with free content management systems to easily build and maintain/update community websites.

As a small group of enthusiastic designers, we not only commit ourselves to designing web-sites for the community but also volunteering our spare time with community initiatives. This improves our understanding of not-for-profit organisations and what tools they require in order to operate to their fullest potential.

The VCN WebTeam is located in Downtown Vancouver and is constantly looking for new projects and challenges. We find the most pleasure in educating and familiarizing individuals and community organizations in all aspects of the web world and how it can improve their life.
